When I was first introduced to Catan, I played so much I quickly beat up my cardboard hexes that came with the game. This inspired me to look for a more durable set – and ultimately to make one. These sturdy tiles are made for the long haul and pay tribute to each resource hex from the game.
The custom hexes are made to work with your existing Settlers of Catan Game. The Catan-inspired standard set includes 18 hex-shaped number tokens, a 6-piece border set, a custom robber token, 9 harbor tokens, and 19 resource tiles:
- 1 desert
- 4 sheep (albeit 1 is a black sheep)
- 3 brick
- 4 wheat
- 3 ore
- 4 wood hexes
Additionally, this expanded set includes the necessary pieces to accommodate the 5-6 player version of the game. Additional pieces include 28 number tokens, 2 harbor tokens, a 4-piece border expansion, and 11 resource tiles:
- 1 desert
- 2 sheep
- 2 brick
- 2 wheat
- 2 ore
- 2 wood
Custom settlements, cities, and roads made to work with your existing Settlers of Catan Game. Each set includes 24 pieces:
• Settlements (5 each)
• Cities (4 each)
• Roads (15 each)
Sold as standard 4 player set (orange, blue, white/natural, and red), 2 player expansion set (brown and green), and full 6 player set with all colors. Altogether, the full set includes 144 pieces.
Catan-inspired card set made to work with your existing 5-6 player game. Set includes 120 resource cards and 34 development cards. The extra 5-6 player cards are distinguishable by the black line outlining the border (versus the 3-4 player cards which have a white line outlining the border).
These cards are slightly larger than the cards included with your existing Catan game (they are approx. 2.2 wide by 3.4 tall). The resource cost cards are designed to match custom designs used in GameMason wooden sets. The design for the back of the resource cards is different from the development cards. Each card set consists of 154 cards as follows:
120 resource cards (24 of each resource):
• 24 brick
• 24 ore
• 24 sheep (incl. 1 black sheep)
• 24 wheat
• 24 wood
34 development cards:
• 20 knights
• 3 monopoly
• 3 road building
• 3 year of plenty
• 1 “chapel” victory card
• 1 “library” victory card
• 1 “market” victory card
• 1 “palace” victory card
• 1 “university” victory card
All GameMason items are sized to work with your existing Settlers of Catan game. You must own the Settlers of Catan game by Klaus Teuber in order to use and enjoy this board. This set will be custom made once your order is placed. Please allow 3-5 days production time. If ordering with the custom box, please allow an additional 1-3 days production time.
Hexes are 0.224 inches thick and have high grade appearance and are consistent in thickness.
The set includes White Oak items only (as shown in first picture) – not Catan game pieces. Also, please note that there are variances in the appearance of the wood that is reflective of the natural variances in wood – i.e. some hexes are darker, some lighter, etc.

Wow Wow Wow Wow…Brent did an amazing job! The board somehow looks even better in person than in the awesome photos he already has online! Brent’s Customer Service is the example every company should use as their baseline.
