Maple
Used in borders, coasters, resource tiles, and many game pieces. This material shows a great contrast between the etching and the wood. It is also lightweight and very stackable. If you have multiple pieces to store, these will work great.
Each tile has an MDF core with real wood laminate on each side that is sanded smooth and finished with a clear coat to give it a high grade appearance. Lasers cuts with a dark edge and engraving does not go through to the MDF. There is a thickness tolerance of +/- 20%.

Amber Bamboo
Used in borders, coasters, resource tiles, and game pieces. This 100% renewable wood is a golden brown color with a fine grain. The bamboo joints are visible on the surface and break up the grain creating a unique appearance.
Bamboo is a natural material with natural variation. When etched, sometimes the next layer comes through very dark and sometimes it comes through lighter - or even banded due to the grain differences.
